Ben Preisner had a fairly lofty goal for Saturday’s OFSAA cross-country championships, and chased it down in convincing fashion.

Aiming for a top-six finish at Green’s Creek Conservation Area in Ottawa yesterday morning, the Bishop Reding junior boys runner wound up racing his way to fourth — taming the six-kilometre course in 21 minutes and 15 seconds.
